Chanaka Aluwihare
Chanaka has a proven track record of collaboration and leading large diverse teams to successfully deliver the goals of Defence projects with a total value over $20 billion. With over 20 years’ experience in Defence capability acquisition, he possesses extensive knowledge and skill in the application of systems engineering, mechanical engineering, project management and contract management for delivering complex programs. Chanaka successfully led the capability requirements derivation of the deployable bulk fuel capability project (i.e. JP8190) and Army’s two largest multi-billion projects namely; LAND400 (i.e. Ph2 & Ph3) and LAND121 (i.e. Ph3A & Ph3B). Furthermore, he was instrumental in developing the needs including the data exchange standard for the Technical Data Management Capability project, which introduced a Teamcenter PLM based configuration management capability for managing the land materiel technical information. As a visionary leader and strategic thinker, Chanaka assures customer satisfaction by advocating and implementing industry best practices and standards.

Michael Kim
Michael is a procurement and contracting professional with over 10 years’ experience working for the Department of Defence and commercial industry. His expertise includes; developing procurement and contracting strategies in addition to establishing and managing high value commercial arrangements for complex project realisation. Michael has a broad range of skills including cost estimation, payment models, performance frameworks and collaborative contracting, which informs his holistic approach to establishing and managing commercial arrangements.
